I’m Erika, the photographer behind Erika D. Photography.

My journey into photography started years ago in a way I think a lot of parents can relate to—taking pictures of my own kids during their sports. I loved being able to freeze those fast-paced moments and capture memories that would otherwise be gone in an instant.

From there, my passion continued to grow when I got into photographing motocross. There was something about capturing the speed, emotion, action, and excitement that made me completely fall in love with photography.

What started as simply taking pictures has become so much more than that to me. Photography is my passion. It’s my creative outlet, my peace, and the place where I can completely block out the noise of everyday life and focus on something I truly love.

Now, I’m expanding my photography journey into families, couples, maternity, portraits, and all of life’s meaningful moments. I love capturing genuine connections, real emotions, and memories that people can look back on for years to come.

My biggest dream is to turn what I love into something I can do every day. There is something incredibly special about being trusted to capture someone’s story, and I would be honored to capture yours.
